UB Eligibility
Eligibility requirements for Upward Bound Programs:
- Student must be enrolled in Clarke Central, Cedar Shoals, Madison County, Banks County, Wilkes County, Jackson County or Oglethorpe County High Schools
- Student must come from a family in which neither parent has completed a four year college degree (first generation college student)
- Student's family income must meet federal guidelines
- Students must be U.S. citizens
- Students must have a demonstrated need for the program services, in order to successfully complete a program of education beyond high school
- Students must have completed the eighth grade and be at least 13 years of age
